I say this ALL the time at school!!!! It is so true. There are some things which can be done "fairly". Each child gets the same treat for example. But, when it comes to teaching, there is no such things as giving each and every child the same thing in order to be "fair". A good teacher gives each unique child what he or she needs to succeed which may or may not be same thing that another child needs to succeed. So, of one child needs to have breaks to stay focussed that is what they get. If another child needs to stand up to work, that is what they get. I am not about creating cookie cutter kids. I am about helping each child be the best that they can be!
